Talk about wearable art! This collection was all about the designer’s vision of menswear for women…to the extreme. In the beginning of the show, clean button down shirts and floor length skirts were worn with minimal detail. Guess this was suppose to set the tone for what was yet to come which included pleated pants that squared off at the waistline and extreme flat planar dresses and jackets. I’m sure the collection wanted to capture the signature Margiela style and this show might have just been for press but it didn’t match up to previous collections. It was actually a bit…flat.
